Does Wagamama serve breakfast? The short answer
Breakfast is not part of Wagamama’s national UK menu. We checked the official menu in September 2026, and the categories listed are: limited time only, lunch time, sides, the main event, extras, desserts and sweet treats, drinks, kids, and gluten free. There is no breakfast or brunch section.
Wagamama has run morning service at a small number of sites over the years — typically travel hubs such as airport and station branches, where footfall starts early. But this has never been a chain-wide offer, it is not advertised on the main menu, and it changes without announcement.
So if you are planning a morning visit, the only reliable answer comes from the specific branch you intend to go to. This page explains how to check that in about two minutes, and what to do if the answer is no.

When we tried to verify those figures against Wagamama’s own website, we could not. Every other source publishing the same numbers turned out to be quoting other unofficial menu sites rather than Wagamama, and the figures traced back in a circle without ever reaching a primary source. The table also contained an internal error: two completely different dishes were listed at an identical price and calorie count.
We would rather publish a shorter page that is true than a longer one that reads convincingly and is wrong. If you find a breakfast price list for Wagamama on any site, including this one, treat it as unverified unless it links to Wagamama’s own menu.
How to check whether your branch serves breakfast
- Find the branch on the official restaurant finder. Wagamama’s restaurants page lists opening hours per site. A branch opening at 11am or midday is not serving breakfast. One opening at 7am or 8am inside an airport terminal may be.
- Check the opening time against the menu. Wagamama’s standard menu has a lunch time section rather than a breakfast one. An early-opening site is often serving that lunch menu from the door, not a separate morning menu.
- Phone the branch directly. This is the only definitive check. Ask two things: whether they serve a morning menu, and from what time. Staff answer this in seconds.
- If it is an airport branch, check landside vs airside. Airport sites operate on different hours and pricing from high street restaurants, and you may not be able to reach one before security.

What morning service has looked like where it exists
Where Wagamama has run a morning menu, the character of it has been consistent: Japanese and Korean flavours applied to breakfast formats rather than a straight full English. Broadly, that has meant dishes in these families:
- Japanese-style omelettes — thin folded omelettes with vegetable or mixed protein fillings.
- Eggs on toast variants — including versions finished with Korean-style chilli sauces rather than plain butter.
- Breakfast noodle bowls — a broth-based bowl at breakfast is the most distinctive thing on any Wagamama morning menu, and the main reason people seek it out.
- Bao buns and gyoza in smaller morning portions.
- Cooked breakfast plates, including a plant-based version, at the sites that offered a fuller menu.
