Are there Wagamama promo codes? The honest answer
Wagamama does not issue public promo codes. There is no checkout field waiting for a voucher string you can find on a coupon site, and pages promising “the latest Wagamama discount codes” almost never contain a working code — because there generally aren’t any to list.
This page used to be one of those. It promised codes throughout and listed none. We have rewritten it around the discounts that actually exist and that you can verify yourself.
The short version: almost all real Wagamama savings run through Soul Club, its free loyalty app. If you want to spend less at Wagamama, that is the thing to download — not a coupon site.

Note the interaction in the last two rows: the student discount explicitly cannot be used alongside the lunch menu. If you are a student eating at lunchtime, work out which is cheaper for what you are ordering rather than assuming the 20% stacks.
Student discount: how it actually works
This is the largest saving available and the one most people are searching for. It is 20% off, not 10% — an earlier version of this page had that wrong.
- Download the Wagamama Soul Club app and create an account.
- Verify your student status inside the app. Wagamama calls this getting your “blue tick” — the discount does not apply until this is done.
- Show the app when you pay, dining in, Sunday to Thursday.

Why coupon sites list Wagamama codes that don’t work
Search “Wagamama promo code” and you will find dozens of pages listing codes. Most are one of the following:
- Long-expired campaign codes left up because the page still earns traffic.
- Delivery platform codes — first-order discounts from Deliveroo, Uber Eats or Just Eat. These are the delivery company’s offers, not Wagamama’s, and apply to your first order on that platform generally.
- Auto-generated filler — plausible-looking strings that were never real.
If you order through a delivery app, check that app’s own offers section. That is a genuine route to a discount. It is just not a Wagamama promo code.
Practical ways to spend less
- Join Soul Club before you go, not at the table. Verification takes a few minutes and you cannot claim the student discount retrospectively.
- Eat Sunday to Thursday if you are a student. The discount does not run Friday or Saturday.
- Check the lunch menu. Smaller portions at lower prices, and available to everyone without an app.
- Avoid airport branches for any offer. They are priced separately and excluded from essentially every promotion.
- Order sides to share rather than one each. Two shared sides across four people is usually enough alongside mains.
- Drink tap water. Obvious, but drinks are where a family bill quietly inflates.
